This project was undertaken  February 19  2021 . Let me preface this by saying that first and foremost,  my spouse/life partner, Elizabeth, and myself are very private people . Bearing that in mind, this is my initial attempt at creating a website that respects all privacy concerns either of us  have .  The site is meant to share some fun among the family and give us a private place  where we can share our photos and videos  (and thoughts) , not only between us but with parts of our extended families and our close  invited friends .

This is a non-commercial personal site for myself, Jerry, now a retired and "mellow" senior who spends his days in pursuits such as reading, watching TV sports and mysteries,  and endeavouring to play music on his guitars. Since my late teens, my on-again off-again hobby and yes, passion, has been playing the guitar. During my university experience I started playing the guitar a little more energetically. Since my retirement I have been playing a lot more.

 

In addition I have invited my sons Darren and Corey (and his wife, Kim and my grandson, Micah) to share the possibilities of this site with me. Darren plays the saxaphone, and in this time of Covid, our joint music jam sessions and visits have been virtual .  Corey plays guitar well,  his wife Kim does some very nice things with art, and my grandson Micah (now 3 years old) is "in training" and quickly  developing competency in a surprising number of sports, plus art and music. Feel free to read their "About Pages" (when they put them up ) by going back to the HOME screen and clicking the buttons on the right for each of their areas.

I am not a composer of my own music. I work out unusual arrangements and play music that I've heard and found interesting for any number of reasons. It is how I deal with my emotional highs and lows.  I recommend this type of passion or pursuit unreservedly. I think everyone would benefit from having their own "emotional reset" button to keep their life in balance .  As you will see, my  RESET  is the guitar & vocals.

This website is a way to do virtual visits with a few select friends who live in other parts of the world, and with whom I wanted to be able to communicate and even occasionally share some of the music (very large files)  I enjoy playing.

On this site are several of my "amateur" efforts at music videos, hopefully improving in musical quality each month. Clicking your mouse in the middle should stop or start the chosen music video. In many of the video formats, in the far bottom right corner a double musical note will appear as you pass your mouse over it. This will turn the sound on or off as it relates to that specific video.
